Jason is an associate attorney with the property and automobile subrogation divisions at RMI. Jason is licensed to practice in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky and handles all aspects of property and automobile subrogation cases.
Since joining RMI in 2021, Jason has built a rapport with clients and has assisted clients in investigating and litigating both small and large subrogation claims. His propensity for information gathering, communication, and persistence has achieved multiple recoveries for our clients in his short time with RMI.
A native Hoosier, Jason received his J.D. from the Donald P. Klekamp College of Law at the University of Cincinnati and earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Ball State University. During his time in law school, he actively sought out diverse and distinctive legal experiences. Among his notable experiences were his involvement with legal organizations such as the esteemed Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, Vermont Legal Aid, the University of Cincinnati Office of Equal Opportunity, and with in-house legal counsel at Grange Insurance. Jason also served as the vice president of the American Constitution Society.
Before pursuing a legal career, Jason held a diverse range of roles, including working as a painter, a campaign manager, a research assistant in a nationwide research project, working in the finance and banking sector, and as a legal assistant handling automobile subrogation cases.
Jason’s diverse background and unique legal journey bring a distinctive and valuable perspective to RMI.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys watching sports, traveling, editing Wikipedia articles, and spending time with his dog, Finnegan. He is also actively involved in his community having recently served as the treasurer of his Homeowner’s Association, and currently volunteering at a local theater, and as a judge for speech and debate, moot court, and mock trial tournaments.
