A native of Lorain, Ohio, Jake is a first-generation attorney. In 2018, he received his B.A. in Criminology and Justice Studies from Kent State University. Then, in 2021, Jake earned his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law. As a law student, Jake served as 1L Representative, Vice President, and later, President of Akron Law’s Gay-Straight Law Alliance. Jake was also a member of the Akron Law Trial Team where he won the 2020 Ohio Attorney General’s Public Service Mock Trial Competition as plaintiff’s counsel.

Prior to joining RMI, Jake was a county prosecutor that specialized in child abuse and neglect cases. He also prosecuted felony offenses with a focus on drug and property crimes. Jake is committed to helping clients achieve relief on losses that arise from negligence and other harms.
